Aman Spa at The Connaught London
The Spa
Part of London’s exclusive five star Connaught Hotel in Mayfair, the Aman Spa has a distinctly Eastern style that combines pristine luxury, flawless design and holistic wellbeing. It was the first Aman Spa to be built outside the globally renowned Aman Resorts, Hotels and Residences. Its signature style sits alongside the Connaught Hotel’s own quintessentially British character and Victorian history, creating an iconic fusion of design and culture.
The Uniforms
Fashionizer started working with the Aman Spa to deliver their first spa uniforms when they opened in 2012. The project was done to a high specification in keeping with a five star hotel, and on very tight deadlines. Having successfully completed the project, we partnered with them again three years later to deliver a more organic, updated approach to their bespoke spa uniforms. They needed to reflect the combination of contemporary East and old world West that were part of the Aman Spa and Connaught Hotel respectively. Garments were for both therapists and reception staff, so we used our breathable and environmentally friendly Cotton Performance Fabric (CPF) to design cool, comfortable and flexible uniforms that were smart but also allowed enough movement for authentic treatments such as Thai massages.
